Pre-Athletic Training

The pre-athletic training program at Dickinson State University has developed an agreement with the North Dakota State University program. Students may take one or two years at Dickinson State University before applying for admission to the professional component at NDSU. Application must be made during the last year of attendance at Dickinson State University. In addition to the completion of required coursework, it is advisable for the pre-athletic training student to volunteer in a local athletic training department. Admission to any professional program is the prerogative of the faculty of the institution offering that professional program and Dickinson State University cannot guarantee admission.
