How to Apply
Dear Prospective Theodore Roosevelt Scholar,
Please realize that the Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership
Program is not simply a scholarship opportunity for academic achievers.
It is a leadership program that has a number of requirements one must
meet each semester to demonstrate satisfactory progress. Before applying,
please read the Program Overview and Course
of Study and consider
the differences between this Leadership Program (with its curricular
and co-curricular requirements) and a typical academic scholarship.
Success in the Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program requires
a significant commitment on your part. It is not for everybody.

- Submit Dickinson State University Application
- Attach a two to three-page essay addressing the following questions:
How would membership in the Theodore Roosevelt Leadership Program
benefit you? What makes you want to join the TR Program? What
talents and abilities do you bring that will enhance the TR program
and the University?
- Attach a resume that lists extra curricular activities you
are/have been involved in, including leadership positions held
- Attach 2 letters of recommendation
- Attach a copy of your high school transcript
- Please return the above items by Priority deadline February 1
