Online Registration
If you have completed the NDUS application and submitted the
$35 non-refundable application fee, you can register for classes.
The Summer and Fall 2008 schedules are now available for viewing.
DSU distance education tuition and fees cost $238 per credit for the Summer 2008 school term. The DSU distance education tuition and fees cost $246 per credit for the Fall 2008 school term. Distance education classes are charged by the
credit, regardless of credit load. Some courses will have
additional fees. The cost of books is not included in the tuition
and fees. Financial
aid is available for qualifying students. All DSU first-time,
first-year undergraduate loan borrowers have a 30-day delayed
disbursement, and the disbursement will be in two halves.
Also, students who attend only one term will be subject to
multiple disbursements.
Requirements
Students are responsible for obtaining the correct materials before classes
start. Make sure you read and understand the course information provided
that explains any special software and/or textbook requirements for the courses
you wish to take. Some online courses require specific versions of the textbook
that have online access codes and other courses have specific software requirements.
If you buy the wrong version of the textbook, you will be required to pay
a fee to the publisher for access to the course materials.
You will need to have a working computer and Internet access
to take online classes. Review the technology
requirements to see if your computer will work for online
classes.

How to Drop or Add a Class
To drop or add an online class, please contact your site coordinator, or the Extended
Campus office in Dickinson to initiate the paperwork. See the Dates
to Remember for information on last dates to drop or add classes. If you
are taking this class as a collaborative student, the drop or add must be processed
through your home campus. Before dropping or adding a class consider the possible
ramifications to your completion plan and your financial aid status.
Application Procedure
Before you can register for class you need to apply to Dickinson
State University.
First Year Student Admission: (If
you’ve never attended college before, choose
this option.)
- Follow the instructions found in “To Apply for admission
on-line” found below.
- Send the $35 non-refundable application fee to the
address listed below.
- Have official high school or GED transcripts sent to
the address listed below.
- Scores from ACT or SAT I test. We prefer to receive
a Student Profile Report sent to DSU; our ACT code number
is 3210 and our SAT I code number is 35110. Your scores are
required if you are under 25 years of age on the first day
of class.

Transfer Student Admission: (If
you’ve attended a college other than Dickinson
State University before, choose this option.)
- Follow the instructions found in “To Apply for admission
on-line” found below.
- Send the $35 non-refundable application fee to the
address listed below.
- Official transcripts from ALL colleges previously attended
must be submitted to Dickinson State University.
- If you have completed fewer than 24 semester credits
(35 quarter hours) of college work please submit:
- Official high school transcript, complete with graduation
date.
- Please see the NDUS Guidelines below for Home Schooled/Educated
Students.
- Scores from ACT or SAT I test (unless you are over
25 years old on the first day of class).

Returning Student Admission: (If
you’ve attended Dickinson State University
before, choose this option.)

Campus office for further details for re-admission.

To Apply for admission
on-line
- Click on the Campus Connection button:

- Select "Obtain a User Account".
- Complete the User Registration. A User ID and Password
will be assigned to you. Be sure to submit an email address
when you complete the registration.
- After you have received your User ID and Password via email,
go back to the above listed link and click on "Applicant
Self Service" and then click on "Online Admissions
Application."
- You can return at any time with your new credentials. top
** If you have problems with the online form, a paper copy
of the NDUS application form can be mailed to you. Please click
on the EMAIL ME link below to request a form to be mailed to
you.
Remember to include your mailing address in the email. Fill
out the form and return it with the $35 non-refundable application
fee by check, money order, or call in the credit card information
