Classes
- yoga – a form of movement emphasizing upper body strength, flexibility and relaxation
- pilates – designed to develop a strong and centered body
- broadway aerobics - aerobics based on simple choreography from broadway musicals to improve cardio respiratory fitness
- cardio kick boxing – a high energy, high impact aerobics class focusing on cardio respiratory fitness and upper body strength
- fitball – using an exercise ball, this class is designed to improve overall muscle strength and balance
- water aerobics - meeting in the student center pool, this class offers a fun way to improve cardio respiratory fitness
The fitness center is located in the Student Center and is equipped with treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bicycles, rowing machines and dumbbells. There is reading material and a television. The fitness center is open everyday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Intramurals
Intramural sports are available for both men and women throughout most of the year. Scott Gymnasium, Wienbergen Hall, the Student Center, Whitney Stadium, and surrounding athletic fields provide students with some of the best athletic facilities in the upper Midwest. Students also have the opportunity to travel to other parts of the upper Midwest for regional competition in certain intramural sports programs. Intramural sports that are offered include:
Flag Football - Men and Co-recreation
Badminton
Water Basketball
Ping Pong
Basketball - Men, Women, Co-recreation, and 3-on-3
Volleyball
Softball
Darts
